ダンスカンパニーMonochrome Circus主宰。大学で美学と人類学を学ぶ。「身体との対話」をテーマにダンスとコミュニケーションの様々な形で追求し続けている。近年は、アンジェ国立振付センター （仏）との共同製作『怪物プロジェクト』や、一定の制約を設けて作る『掌編（しょうへん）ダンス集』などがある。ダンサー・振付家の育成や、ダンスのアウトリーチも多く手がけ、「京都国際ダンスワークショップ・フェスティバル」、「Contact Improvisation Meeting Japan」のディレクターを務める。’01年京都市若手芸術家奨励制度奨励者／’02年アジアン・カルチュラル・カウンシルの助成を受けてNYに研修。’09年度より近畿大学講師。得意な料理はシチュー。

Studied Esthetics and Anthropology in University. His thesis for the activity is “Dialogue with / through Body”. He directed dance company Monochrome Circus based in Kyoto. His works has introduced many various countries such as Lyon Biennale. He also produces “ International Dance Workshop Festival in Kyoto” and “Contact Improvisation Meeting in Japan”. He has got “Grant for the young creators in Kyoto” in 2001, “Grant for the new creators in Kyoto” in 2007, and also granted from Asian Cultural Council for 2002 to be in NY. Lecturer for the Kinki University (2009-).
